Features of Forged Steel Fully Welded Ball Valves

There are two situations with forged steel gate valves: on the one hand, the grease injection volume is small and insufficient, and the sealing surface wears out faster due to lack of lubricant. On the other hand, excessive grease injection causes waste. This is because the sealing capacity of different valves is not accurately calculated according to the type and category of the valve. The sealing capacity can be calculated according to the valve size and category, and then the appropriate amount of grease can be reasonably injected.
Maintenance of Forged Steel Fully Welded Ball Valves

After grease injection, be sure to seal the grease injection port. Prevent impurities from entering, or oxidation of grease at the grease injection port. The cover should be coated with anti-rust grease to prevent rust. For use during the next operation.
Forged steel low-temperature valves should consider specific problems and specific treatments in future oil product sequential transportation. In view of the different qualities of diesel and gasoline, the scouring and decomposition capabilities of gasoline should be considered. In future valve operations, when encountering gasoline section operations, add grease in time to prevent wear and tear. When injecting grease, do not ignore the grease injection of the valve stem. The valve shaft part has a sliding bushing or packing, and it also needs to maintain a lubricating state to reduce the frictional resistance during operation. If lubrication cannot be ensured, the torque will increase when the electric operation wears parts, and the manual operation will be laborious to switch.
Some ball valves have arrows marked on the valve body. If there is no English FIOW marking, it indicates the direction of the sealing seat, not as a reference for the flow direction of the medium, and the self-leakage direction of the valve is opposite. Under normal circumstances, double-seat sealed ball valves have bidirectional flow.
During valve maintenance, attention should also be paid to the problem of water entering the electric head and its transmission mechanism. Especially rainwater seeping in during the rainy season. First, it causes the transmission mechanism or transmission bushing to rust, and second, it freezes in winter. This causes excessive torque during the operation of the electric valve, and damage to the transmission components will cause the motor to be unloaded or the over-torque protection to trip, making electric operation impossible. Damage to the transmission components also prevents manual operation. After the over-torque protection action, manual operation is also impossible. If forced operation is performed, the internal alloy components will be damaged.
